Ordinary search engines are obsolete, according to search analyst
Susan Feldman directs IDC’s Content Technologies Group, and specializes in research on search and discovery software and digital marketplace technologies and dynamics. In a lecture, she argues that ordinary search engines as we know them today are already obsolete. She said,” In time, search functions will be integrated in every application we use”. Feldman predicts that the explosion of information on the internet and new business needs will drive the development of search technology forward. CyberWatcher is pleased to get recognition for our long term focus towards integrated search.
